I'm also dealing w/ having to spread my dad's ashes next weekend w/ my sister & step mum. He passed 4 years ago just before COVID and I've already made peace w/ it. It's just a lot of extra emotional shit on my plate. But I think it will actually be really good for all of us, as we haven't seen each other in these 4 years and while we had a strained relationship, things are getting much better between all of us since my dad's passing. But still, it's a lot to add on top of everything else. Not to mention a lot of changes/drama/conflict at my job as well. But I'm not in as bad of a state as I was last year and I still wrote 2 books thru all that.
Rome wasn't destroyed in a day. LoL. A saga can't be hammered out in the blink of an eye. Be patient with yourself. The goods will come when they come. And when they do.....
