Slow Progress but Still Progress

...it is whatever

The first chapter of the next book in the Barbarians of the Storm saga is written. Although, I need to massage and rework a few key details, which I’ve been trying to do the last few days. The first few chapters are really important to get right due to the set up for this story, which revolves around Fenrik’s daughter being abducted by a powerful devil. But it also deals with his reunion with Gina and how she has to drop this detail on him.

Overall, progress is feeling kind of stagnant at the moment. I’m still dealing with some life shit but this big dark cloud that’s been over my head for nearly a year now is close to being behind me. Unless fate throws another fucked up curveball at my head.

It’s hard for me to get the focus I need in my current living situation, but I am set to move to a much quieter place by the end of May. I hate having to wait though, and it does fucked up wonders to my anxiety and mental state.

Anyway, I just wanted to keep everyone updated on the progress (or lack thereof). I don’t want to dwell on the negative bullshit. It is what it is, as they say.
