As I have gone beyond the halfway point in the second book in the Barbarians of the Storm series, I took a creative break this past weekend and proofread what’s already been written to fine-tune and edit it. I typically re-read everything multiple times, as I write. It helps me clear up any muddy details or possible inconsistencies or contradictions in the plot. I’m not sure how most writers do this stuff but it’s always worked best for me to be as familiar with every chapter and detail within, as I progress. Having a Moleskin at my side to jot down notes is also one hell of a life saver.
