Congrats Rob! I think it went well and good to see you are taking criticism very professionally. I'm going to post a review (when the day job gives me a moment to work on it) and I do have plusses and negatives to discuss. John talking about your improvements in book 2 is great! The ultimate test - buy the rest of the series? I bought them last night and will do a book haul tweet when they arrive.
Well, if you like some of the secondary characters, check out the other books. The overall scope of things gets larger and those characters get to shine. Also, Erzulyn becomes my favorite character to write from book 2 onward. Also, there's a lot of cool stuff featuring Killer. The 2nd book was where I started to really focus and develop BotS as a series.
That intro to Xulgog/Foolpuddle short story is intense. It plays in your head like a medieval slasher movie starring goblins!

Can't wait to get to the book about Fenrik!
Well, I look forward to what you have to say.
Dan the Destructor is a great read! I'm glad you enjoyed our discussion. I hope others did, too!

It was a great first pick. Lots of people are into this, Rob!
