I've gone dark on socials to get work done or just to give myself some time to recoup and get my head back in the game. No shame, and I'm glad to hear you're giving yourself that time. In doing that, I always worry about loss of momentum. But Twitter has been such a broken piece of shit, lately, that the momentum that did exist has been pretty much wrecked. Regardless, I still need some time to breathe. I'd like to spend some more time building up the Discord but man, it's really foreign to me.
Tbh, social media in general is kinda broken right now. Silicon Valley sites are fading out but not away, alt-tech threw its lot in with political echo chambers ages ago, and the only active platform (Gab) is chief among them, it's just kind of a mess. Discord and Guilded are ironically the two platforms I prefer to engage people on. So I'd say take your time, and start focusing on building up Discord.
