The Necessary Pain is OVER!

...time to get back to work, bitches!

Finally! I am done re-reading the books and taking very detailed character notes. It was not fun, it took up too much time, but it was absolutely necessary, even if it delayed the next book in the series. Although, I do like my books a lot, so the reading part was nice. It also gets my gears turning and makes me start connecting dots I might not have seen on previous readthroughs. Ultimately, it’ll make the larger story better, as a whole.

Well, now that I can move forward and start actually writing again, I’m jumping into Book III, the direct sequel to Atomic Beasts and Where to Kill Them, which did end somewhat unresolved and on some cliffhangers. Keeping people waiting for the continuation wasn’t necessarily what I wanted to do, but I felt that the anthology Eyes in All Shadows needed to come out in-between and after that, I knew I had to really keep a better database of character and event details.

As I’ve mentioned before, I also have other projects within the larger franchise planned. Stay tuned for that, as I don’t want to give too much away until those things are close to release.
