The Book Production Has Moved Exclusively to Amazon
After using Lulu since 2010 for several books, I naturally thought that I’d use them to publish Dan the Destructor, the first of the Barbarians of the Storm series. Mainly, I was familiar with the service and how it worked.
However, after shenanigans with royalties, and headaches in trying to get the digital book done, I decided to just make a Kindle version through Amazon’s KDP service and from there, decided to also have them take over production of the paperback.
When making this book, all I could think about was that it needed to be a pocket-sized paperback like the pulp novels I grew up loving from writers like Robert E. Howard, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Louis L’Amour, Andre Norton and others. I was able to do this size with Amazon and also it costs me half the price to produce each copy with much better royalty rates.
So you can buy either the paperback or the Kindle version from the same page here. If you have Kindle Unlimited, you can read the book for free. However, owning physical books is cooler and I kept it under $10 because I wanted the physical books to be as accessible as possible to everyone.
