The 2nd Fenrik Side Quest Begins!

...just a quick update on the start of the writing process

As of yesterday, the hiatus officially ended!

I started the writing process for the next book, a second Fenrik Side Quest and the 8th overall novel in the Barbarians of the Storm series. Granted, I only hit about 1000 words, but they are in the book and the hardest part is done. With there now being words in my document file, momentum and motivation will only build as I storm forward. At least, that is how it has gone with the seven previous installments of this series.

So far, the book starts with a bang, as Fenrik finds himself in a strange place outside of his own world, once again. Why? That will be revealed as the story plays out, but this book is tied directly to the epilogues of both A Crown of Furious Color and An Axe to Eat the Gods. It also features returning characters from Fenrik 1984 and builds off of what started there.

Aaaaand this is all I will say for now. I need to focus on the book itself and keep charging forward.
