Onto the Next Act of the Next Book

...Fenrik & ninjas & vampires, oh my!

This is just a quick progress update on the next Barbarians of the Storm - Side Quest (the 8th book in the series overall).

I have completed the first seven chapters, which makes up the first act of the story. I also proofread, edited, and beefed it up. I gotta say that I really enjoyed rereading it and think that it is a helluva lot of fun, as well as emotional and quite serious due to the nature of Fenrik’s quest.

I got experimental and tried a lot of new things and I plan to try some more neat stuff with this book. Each act will have its own unique tone and objective with each getting more and more dark, as Fenrik works his way towards invading two different Hells.

This past week was crazy with work stuff and some other things that popped up, but the creative cylinders are clicking properly. I hope to keep blasting forward.

Also, I think the cover art is done, which just motivates me even further to keep writing.

That’s it. I need to write more book, less blog.
