In a Much More Comfortable Spot with the 8th Book's Development
...as real life begins to smooth out and stress minimizes
As things are finally starting to fall into place as they should, I’m finding myself under a lot less real life stress. Feeling much more relaxed and seeing the light at the end of the dark tunnel that has been the last 10-12 months, my creativity is starting to flow again.
It’s been hard getting this next book rolling and I did legitimately need some recovery time, as I have barely taken any since this Barbarians of the Storm journey began. However, I’m just trying to be more cognizant of what my body and my mind need. Thankfully, they now need to push these slow cooking creative ideas out of me and onto paper.
The first two chapters of the 8th book, another Fenrik Side Quest, are now on paper. Or digital paper, I should say. Although, I do want to beef them up and flesh them out more, I am going to keep pushing ahead and save the beefing up for the various proofing and editing sessions.
As I’ve stated before, and with nearly every book in this series, the earliest chapters tend to be the toughest, as I have to set the tone and create the foundation for the rest of the story. I’m nearly done with this part, so everything after it should come to me much easier and quicker.
That’s it for now. I need to devote my writing time to Fenrik 1984 2: 1992… which is not actually the title. Title revealed later.
