Ooh, ominous imagery! Yes, it has something to do with the next book. You’ll have to wait and see, but feel free to speculate.
I felt an update was necessary, as I put the Elizabeth short story to bed. Granted, it’s not really short. It’s nearly as long as the main stories in my regular novels. In fact, the previous longest short story Eyes in All Shadows, has been eclipsed by about 30 percent.
Now, I still have to proof, edit, and beef up what I’ve written since the last proofing session, but that won’t take too long. After that, I have to move right into the planned Magnar short story. From there, I might add one or two more but I’m not 100 percent sure on that, as it depends how long the Magnar story is.
Obviously, once I am done with everything, I will do the big proofread and editing session, which tend to beef the books up by 5 percent or so, as new details and dots to connect come to me.
Anyway, that is it for now. I just wanted to update Barbarians of the Storm readers on the next book’s progress and to let you all know that the biggest tale is written. Two stories down! One-to-two-or-three more to go! And I don’t think they’ll take that long either.
