Easing Up On the Posting Schedule
I am done posting chapter samples from Dan the Destructor and its short story, found at the end of the book. I was sprinkling these in between regular updates, news and other posts about Talking Pulp Press and its projects.
I’ve discovered that I can produce a couple of posts per week without getting behind on writing the next book (or my real job). So, instead of dropping a post five times per week on weekdays, I think I’m going to cut it down to three: aiming for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It could just be two days per week, as well. I really need to see if three is possibly too much.
As things pick up with the second book’s release, I may increase the frequency of posts again. For now, though, I really need to spend as much time as I can getting the first draft done (it’s pouring out of me quickly, for the record).
I have five posts planned for this week but starting next Monday, I’ll pull back a bit and stay focused on the most important job I have in all of this, the Barbarians of the Storm book series, as well as some other books that are taking shape in my head.
