All-Out Cosmic War Begins

...the "Book IV" climax opens the biggest floodgates for the "Barbarians of the Storm" saga

I am no longer nearing the climax for “Book IV”, I am now in the thick of it!

As I write this, I am nearing the end of the first phase of the final battle. There will be multiple phases, due to the enemy’s crazy abilities, but I planned it this way because this is the stuff I like to write most: heavy action, heroic MFers doing heroic shit, overcoming impossible odds, opportunities for characters to rise to the challenge, and bigger and greater evils being conquered.

The actual writing updates have been a bit scarce but I want to devote as much as I can to getting this book done. Also, I had two other articles I wanted to write and have already posted over the last week or so.

Anyway, this book is a big ass bitch compared to the rest. So, I’m not sure if I am going to tack a short story on at the end. If this main story alone eclipses the total length of A Crown of Furious Color & Other Stories, the biggest book in the series, I am probably not doing a short. Right now, it looks like I am going to eclipse it. But there’s also that part of me that doesn’t want to break from the tradition of a bonus treat at the end of each saga book.

That’s it for now. I want to get back to working on the book. It could still be released by the end of the year, but I’m not going to stress myself out to try and achieve that. Regardless, we are just a few weeks (or less) away from release.
