"A Crown of Furious Color & Other Stories" is Officially Released!

Well, it’s official! Get A Crown of Furious Color & Other Stories - A Barbarians of the Storm Anthology in paperback HERE!

The Kindle version will probably be available within a week. I just greatly prefer paperbacks and wanted to make sure that those who want physical books, have a bit of an edge in getting them in their hands before those with access to instant downloads.

For those who were waiting to experience Elizabeth’s story, after she was first mentioned way back in the first book, Dan the Destructor, this is the Barbarians of the Storm release for you. However, it isn’t the whole story, just the start. This is also the first book in the second big Barbarians of the Storm arc.

Apart from the novella length Elizabeth story, there are four other tales here. One deals with a cosmonaut and sets up some important lore details. Another story features Fenrik and the Seawolf on their first adventure together. Then, there is a vigilante hero story, which is set in the sword & sorcery setting of the series. Lastly, there’s the first (or is it) story to feature Fenrik’s brother, Magnar.

While this doesn’t lean into horror as hard as the previous anthology, Eyes in All Shadows, it still has some horror elements to it.

I don’t want to spoil more than that, though. So, if you’ve been with the series, thus far, you should definitely check this one out. Two of these stories are now my favorite amongst the many that now populate the Barbarians of the Storm mythos.
